BA (History) Hons
Intern in Nairobi with Reuters News Service
After finishing my History honours degree in 1992, I worked for World Vision in an isolated village in Zambia.
From there I went on to work in New York for a magazine dedicated to advancing the cause of African development. This led to a job with UNICEF, which took me for 18 months to war-torn Liberia.
In 2000 I was admitted to study for the MA in International Relations at Columbia University, New York.
As part of my course, I am in Nairobi working as an intern with Reuters news service. I have produced a documentary on the African debt trap titled T-Shirt Travels.
