What is the course about?The Graduate Certificate in Arts is designed for graduates of ANY discipline to take up the study of any Arts discipline(s) of their choice. No prior study in the chosen discipline(s) is required.
Why study a Graduate Certificate?The Graduate Certificate is intended for people who already hold a
degree but who wish to undertake further study so that they can proceed
to a Graduate Diploma. It will also facilitate the development of specific expertise in the
chosen area(s) of study and a variety of generic skills which will complement
specialised or professional degrees. What does the course involve?The course involves full-time study for one semester, or equivalent part-time (up to a maximum two years). International students may only study on a full-time basis. Students will choose a range of Level 1, 2 and 3 units to the total of 24 points from across the Faculty's offerings. Level 1 units may be necessary as prerequisites for higher level units, however, students are limited to choosing only 12 points of level 1 units. in Arts will provide you with flexible, generic, portable and
internationally recognised skills. It will develop your skills in
researching, developing, analysing and communicating ideas. It will
encourage you to think creatively, and to develop a deep understanding
