The Faculty of Arts provides a rich intellectual environment for both domestic and international students who are enrolled in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Arts degrees.
There are three schools within the Faculty; the School of Humanities, the School of Social Sciences and the School of Music.
The humanities deal with histories, literatures and cultures of all areas of human civilisation. The social sciences study sociology and anthropology, political behaviours and other forms of human behaviour and organisation. Music specialises in performance, composition, music education and musicology.French, Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Ancient Greek and Latin are also taught in the Faculty.
The Faculty hosts a number of Research Centres and Institutes that are led by researchers who are world leaders in their fields.
