Useful links

This is an advanced-level course of study, often similar to honours.

Students normally will have already completed the equivalent of a major sequence in the relevant discipline(s) before being admitted to this course. Individual programs of study are designed for each student and may include research methods and preparation of a dissertation.

As well as being a stand-alone qualification, the course can be used as an alternative pathway to a higher degree by research (master's or PhD).

This is an advanced course of supervised study approved by the Faculty on the recommendation of the head of school concerned.

The course comprises units to a total value of 48 points and involves full-time study for one year, or equivalent part-time study (up to 4 years maximum). International students may only study on a full-time basis.

Students will usually study Seminar and Dissertation units in their chosen area of specialisation.
