This is designed for graduates of any discipline to study any Arts discipline(s) of their choice.

No prior study in the chosen discipline(s) is required.

The graduate certificate is intended for people who already hold a degree but who wish to undertake further study so that they can proceed to a graduate diploma.

It will also facilitate the development of specific expertise in the chosen area(s) of study and a variety of generic skills which will complement specialised or professional degrees.

Course outline

The course involves full-time study for one semester, or equivalent part-time (up to a maximum two years). International students may only study on a full-time basis.

Students will choose a range of Level 1, 2 and 3 units to the total of 24 points from across the Faculty's offerings. Level 1 units may be necessary as prerequisites for higher level units, however, students are limited to choosing only 12 points of Level 1 units.

Admission requirements

A three-year bachelor's degree in any area (not necessarily in Arts).
