Postgraduate

Postgraduates have a choice of both coursework and research.

Coursework

Coursework degrees involve mainly attending classes and possibly writing a thesis, but do not involve significant research.

You can undertake a graduate certificate, graduate diploma or a master's in the following subject areas:

  1. General Arts
  2. Anthropology and Archaeology
  3. Communication Studies
  4. Languages
  5. Music
  6. Social Work
  7. Other Postgraduate Coursework Offering

Research

Research degrees involve, in many cases exclusively, doing research and writing a thesis. Examples are PhDs and the master's by research degree.
